Mission Statement By providing each patient with the most progressive and professional vision care, our caring team is dedicated to setting the highest standard of excellence.
Our practice was established in 1962 by Jerome Lieblein, O.D. In 1972, Dr. Philip Smith joined him as a partner. They operated the practice together until Dr. Lieblein retired in 1999. Our optometrists have been providing high quality eye care services to San Diegans for 50 years!
Dr. Smith & Associates provide state of the art, full-scope optometric services, utilizing a wide range of products and skills - some exclusive - to all who are in need of professional eye care.
Our vision examination will determine your best vision correction. We will screen for significant systemic and ocular diseases such as glaucoma, high blood pressure, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, eye infections and other treatable and preventable visual conditions. Are you at risk? Take the Great American Eye Test and see.
